Job summary

Palisades Tahoe is hiring for an Entry to Experienced Snowmaker to operate and maintain the snowmaking system, creating optimal man-made snow on the slopes. You will manage gun and hose setup, monitor ice and snow quality, and perform routine checks across the hill as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year snowmaking experience and/or training.
• Must possess valid driver's license.
• Ability to ski or snowboard on snow and ice.

Responsibilities

• Set up, tear down, and maintain snowmaking system on hill.
• Manufacture snow meeting established quality standards.
• Make adjustments to the computer system during operations.
• Travel over snow on steep terrain to check system operation and perform minor repairs.
• Record significant events and machine performance accurately.
