Job summary

Vail Resorts in Park City, UT is hiring for winter seasonal Snowmaker roles for Winter 2026/2027. Starting wage is $20.00–$23.00/hr with housing available. This is a full-time seasonal position during the winter season.

You will operate snowmaking equipment, drive snowmobiles, perform basic maintenance and help create optimal skiing conditions for our guests. Must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, fluent English, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate all snowmaking equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operate all vehicles, including snowmobiles, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform basic snowmaking equipment maintenance.
• Work on the production of snow to create the best skiing surface for guests.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Able to work extended hours outdoors in an alpine environment
• The expected pay range is$20.00/hr - $23.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
