Job summary

Vail Resorts in Beaver Creek, CO is hiring a Snowmaker for the 2026/27 winter season. You will operate snowmaking equipment and vehicles for the best skiing surface, assisting in mountain preparation for guests.

The role requires English fluency, physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work extended outdoor hours in alpine conditions. Starting wage $20.00–$23.00/hr, winter seasonal with housing available.

As a Snowmaker, you will brave the elements and helpbuild outthe mountain for the skiing guest. Snowmaking is a physically demanding and exciting job. Work with some of the most fascinating equipment on themountain, andmake it snow!

Job Specifications

Starting Wage: $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027

Shift Type: Full Time hours available

Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

• Valid driver's license with no restrictions


• Must be able to communicate fluently in English


• Able to lift & carry up to 50 lbs.


• Basic hand tool knowledge and skill


• Able to work extended hours outdoors in an alpine environment

The expected pay range is$20.00/hr - $23.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
