Job summary

Robotics Technologies LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a Snowflake Administration Technical Lead to own the enterprise Snowflake environment across development, test and production accounts. You will drive security, cost governance, and performance optimization in a multi-cloud setup.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Snowflake administration, RBAC, data loading, backup/recovery, and platform hardening, with ability to lead onshore/offshore teams and coordinate incident response.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience administering enterprise Snowflake environments across development, test and production accounts.
• Expertise in Snowflake account setup and administration including roles and RBAC, users, warehouses, databases, schemas and objects.
• Knowledge of Snowflake security controls including SSO, MFA, masking policies, and least-privilege access.
• Experience with performance tuning and workload optimization, including sizing, multi-cluster warehouses and SQL tuning.
• Proven Snowflake FinOps and cost optimization experience, including credit consumption analysis and cost governance.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day Snowflake platform administration, availability, security, performance, cost governance and production support.
• Lead incident resolution, root-cause analysis, change implementation and disaster recovery exercises.
• Partner with data engineering, cybersecurity, cloud, network and vendor teams to deliver secure platform services.
• Drive automation of access requests, monitoring, deployment and recurring support processes.
• Provide technical leadership to offshore administration teams and ensure SLAs and standards.
