Job summary

Empower Retirement, LLC is seeking a Sr. Cloud Database Administrator (Snowflake Platform) to design, implement, and secure a scalable Snowflake-based data platform in AWS.

You will lead platform governance, RBAC, performance tuning, and automation in collaboration with Data Engineering, Analytics, DevOps, and Security teams. The role emphasizes enterprise data provisioning, cost optimization, and reliable disaster recovery using Snowflake features.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of database administration experience with enterprise Snowflake environments.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, RBAC and data governance.
• Experience with IaC and CI/CD for Snowflake deployments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Snowflake platform databases, schemas, warehouses, roles, users and data sharing.
• Design scalable Snowflake architectures for analytics, data engineering and AI workloads.
• Implement RBAC, masking, row-level security, network policies and data governance standards.
