Diversified Services Network, Inc. is seeking a full-time Database Administrator to join our Mossville, IL team.

The role focuses on owning data architecture, governance, and end-to-end access management for analytics programs, while supporting modernization from SAS to a modern reporting framework. You will collaborate with Data Specialists, Data Scientists, and report builders to ensure a consistent data experience and drive improvements across Snowflake, SAS, Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Associate's degree in computer programming or a related field required.
• Onsite position based in Mossville, IL with in-office collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Database Administrator (DBA) for a small analytics team, maintaining the intended data architecture, implementing data governance, creating and managing database objects, and documenting the architecture and program-specific flows.
• Own end-to-end user access management, including triaging access requests, obtaining approvals/denials, communicating results, granting access, and administering role-based access controls.
• Serve as the Data/Product Owner for multiple analytics programs and datasets, collaborating with the broader team to ensure consistent architecture and user experience.
• Support the team's modernization initiative, migrating from a legacy SAS central platform to a modern reporting framework.
• Coordinate, test, and implement changes to Snowflake databases, correcting errors and modifying databases/DBMS as needed.
• Author, troubleshoot, and performance-tune SQL views and queries; build and maintain data pipelines (ETL) and job orchestration, including cloud scheduling such as AWS Lambda.
• Build and improve data sets and reporting for owned programs, and support customer inquiries on available data, enhancements, and general support.
• Advise and support the data needs of Data Specialists/Scientists and report builders, performing joint planning to avoid duplicative or conflicting outputs.
• Assist in managing the team's broader technology footprint, which includes Snowflake, SAS, Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, Power BI, and Tableau.
