Job summary

Veriipro is seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer to design, implement, and optimize data solutions on the Snowflake platform. The role emphasizes data warehousing, ELT/ETL processes, cloud platforms, and performance tuning for scalable, secure data solutions.

You will design scalable data warehouse schemas, build pipelines from sources like AWS S3 and Azure, tune queries, and implement security and governance measures.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SnowSQL, loading techniques (COPY), data sharing and Snowflake best practices.
• Advanced SQL skills; proficiency in Python, Java, or other relevant languages.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts such as star, snowflake, and dimensional modeling.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Talend, Informatica, or Apache Airflow.
• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data warehouse schemas, tables, and views.
• Build and maintain data pipelines to load data from sources like AWS S3, Azure, or other clouds into Snowflake.
• Tune SQL queries and optimize virtual warehouse sizes for high performance and cost efficiency.
• Implement security measures including row-level security, masking, and data access policies.
• Create and maintain Snowflake stored procedures, UDFs, and scripts to support business needs.
• Plan and execute migration of legacy databases to Snowflake with data integrity and minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver robust data solutions.
