Job summary

Veriipro is seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer with 7–12 years of experience in data engineering and data warehousing. The role focuses on Snowflake architecture, SQL mastery, ETL/ELT design, and building scalable, high-performance data pipelines.

The candidate will design, develop, and optimize Snowflake data solutions, implement Streams/Tasks, integrate with cloud storage, ensure data quality and governance, and collaborate across engineering, BI, and data science teams.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or database development.
• Strong hands-on Snowflake experience and architecture knowledge.
• Advanced SQL with complex queries, procedures, views and objects.
• ETL/ELT development and data pipeline design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Snowflake data solutions.
• Develop efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data transformation logic.
• Build and maintain reliable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time data processing.
• Develop data models to support analytics, reporting, and BI requirements.
• Optimize Snowflake queries, warehouses, storage, and workloads for performance and cost efficiency.
• Implement Snowflake Streams and Tasks for incremental processing.
• Integrate Snowflake with enterprise data sources and cloud storage.
• Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Support data security, governance access management, and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline, SQL, performance, and production issues.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and data process specifications.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Architects, BI Developers, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders.
• Support CI/CD and automated testing and deployment of Snowflake objects.
