Job summary

Optomi Stamford, CT is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join a team undergoing a major marketing transformation. The role focuses on data engineering, transformation, automation, data quality, and production support within a 100% Snowflake environment.

The Analytics Engineer will work directly with leadership to manage and validate large datasets used in MMM and MTA initiatives, ensuring data accuracy and connecting model results back to source data with autonomy.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Snowflake experience and SQL proficiency.
• Experience with ETL data pipelines and data quality audits.
• Ability to own technical tasks with minimal oversight.
• Experience with Power Automate and AWS S3.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain data quality audits across large datasets.
• Use Snowflake and SQL to transform, aggregate, validate, and prepare data.
• Build and support automated data processes using Power Automate.
• Work with data moving between internal sources, AWS S3, Snowflake, and third-party partners.
• Validate data before it is delivered to external modeling partners.
• Audit data after processing to ensure outputs align with source data and business expectations.
• Understand data flow into the modeling process and how outputs connect back to the underlying datasets.
• Monitor scheduled workflows and troubleshoot production processes.
• Identify data quality issues and correct discrepancies quickly.
• Create Snowflake views for business and downstream use.
• Serve as a data steward for third-party data outputs, ensuring accuracy.
