Job summary

Woodward Tahoe (Boreal/Soda Springs) seeks a Groomer/Cat Driver Level 1 to operate SnowCat, perform grooming and feature builds under supervision. Inspect equipment daily, assist Lead Groomer, build lift ramps, and monitor snowmaking as needed.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a valid US driver's license, strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work outside in cold conditions. On-site housing/meals and health insurance are offered, plus resort access.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Strong communication skills and reliability.
• Ability to work outdoors in cold alpine environment.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Groom trails and prepare high-quality snow surfaces.
• Perform pre- and post-shift inspections of snowcat equipment and fueling.
• Maintain a clean cab and machine.
• Assist grooming manager with trail assignments and ramp/build tasks.
• Support other departments as needed.
