Job summary

Woodward Tahoe / Boreal / Soda Springs in Truckee, CA is hiring a Groomer/Cat Driver Level 1. The role operates snowcat equipment, performs grooming and feature building, and supports the mountain ops team in delivering high-quality runs.

Qualifications

• Valid US driver license.
• Minimum 18 years old.
• Strong communication skills and integrity.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Able to take direction and feedback.
• Comfortable working outside in cold alpine conditions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate with awareness of safety.
• Knowledge of skiing and snowboarding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Groom trails and provide highest quality snow surface for guests.
• Perform pre- and post-shift snowcat inspections and fueling.
• Maintain a clean cab and snowcat.
• Follow guidance of grooming manager or shift lead on tasks and trail assignments.
• Build and maintain lift load/unload ramps and base area.
• Assist other departments as needed; perform additional duties as assigned.
