Job summary

Snowbasin Resort in Huntsville, UT is seeking a snowboard instructor to represent the resort on an interdependent team focused on safe, fun, and effective lessons.

You will teach groups and individuals, uphold the NSAA/PSIA–AASI standards, and participate in mandatory training throughout the season. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with outdoors work in winter conditions and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered PSIA/AASI member.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable, on-time, and committed to working.
• Able to work outside in extreme winter conditions.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Instruct groups of children, adults, or families for the day in various activities including instruction and safety.
• Teach the NSAA/PSIA/AASI standards and code of conduct.
• Attend mandatory training throughout the season and certification updates.
• Provide a welcoming and safe environment for all guests to encourage progression and learning.
• Act as guardian for children when required and adapt to varying skill levels.
• Adhere to program guidelines, schedules, and procedures of the Ski and Ride School.
• Maintain personal ski and board equipment in safe, functional condition.
• Assist in other departments as needed during the season.
