Job summary

Ski Utah is seeking a dedicated Ski Instructor to join the Snowbasin Resort team in Utah. As a Ski Instructor, you will be responsible for creating a safe and enjoyable learning environment for guests of all ages.

Your role includes teaching snowboard lessons, ensuring safety, improving personal skills, and acting as a guardian for children when necessary. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills and be reliable, with a commitment to working in diverse winter conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience and ability to work with children and families.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work outside in extreme and quickly changing winter mountain conditions.

Responsibilities

• Instruct groups of children, adults, or families in various activities.
• Ensure individual and guest safety during lessons.
• Maintain professional environment and adhere to Ski and Ride procedures.

Skills

Experience working with children and families

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Reliability and punctuality

Ability to work outside in extreme winter conditions

Patience and fun attitude

Capability to lift 50 pounds

Education

Registered member of PSIA/AASI

PSIA/AASI certified Level I, 2, or 3
