Job summary

Mountain Creek seeks a Snowboard Instructor in Vernon, NJ to introduce snowboarding to learners, create a safe, fun learning environment, and help guests discover the joy of the mountain.

You will teach adults and children in group and private lessons, assist with rentals, and serve as the resort ambassador, answering questions and sharing product knowledge. Must be 16+, own equipment, and be available weekends/holidays; outdoors in winter is required.

Qualifications

• Teaching or coaching experience preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach adults and children in group and private lessons.
• Assist guests through sales and rental process and answer questions.
• Serve as an ambassador for Mountain Creek by being knowledgeable about the resort and products.

Instructors create a fun and safe learning environment ensuring the guest have a memorable experience.Team Member Responsibilities:Teach adults and children of varying abilities in group and private lessons.Helping the guests through the sales and rental process by answering questions and assisting where needed.Serves as an ambassador for the resort by being knowledgeable about the resort and products.Team Member Qualifications:Comfortable riding on intermediate trailsMust be able to work outdoors in winter conditionsMust have own equipmentCan work weekends and/or Holidays or midweek afternoonsTeaching or coaching experience preferred but not requiredGood communication skillsMust be 16 years of age or older
