Job summary

Camelback Resort in Tannersville, PA is seeking a Snow Tubing Attendant to help create a safe, exciting tubing experience for guests. You’ll assist with tubing operations, monitor lanes and equipment, and help guests navigate the tubing area.

The role requires a friendly, safety-minded attitude, strong communication, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Training is provided; rotating shifts and employee perks are included.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
• Strong listening, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Must be able to speak and read English; additional languages a plus.
• Enthusiastic about working outdoors and comfortable in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely assist guests on and off tubing lifts and carpets.
• Ability to properly position guests and tubes before entering tubing lanes.
• Ability to monitor tubing lanes and identify potential safety hazards or unsafe guest behavior.
• Ability to follow established snow tubing safety procedures and operating standards.
• Ability to safely handle and move snow tubes and equipment throughout the tubing area.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive while monitoring tubing operations.
• Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Previous experience preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety for yourself, coworkers, and guests.
• Inspect equipment (carpets, lifts, tubes) to ensure proper placement and functionality according to standards.
• Assist guests on and off lifts safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all guests are properly positioned and safely inside tubes before use.
• Monitor and maintain safe operation of snow tubing areas.
• Work on a rotating schedule to ensure all tubing areas are properly staffed and attended.
