Job summary

BrightView is seeking a Snow Laborer to join our on-call, part-time crew. You will be responsible for snow removal using ATV plows, snow blowers, shovels, and salt spreaders, with shifts spanning 6 to 12 hours and often extending overnight during storms.

You must be 18+, able to work on short notice, have dependable transportation, a smartphone for our attendance tracker, and be legally eligible to work in the USA.

THIS ROLE IS A Part-Time; On-Call - AS NEEDED ROLE. MEANING YOU WILL NOT WORK UNLESS THE SNOW LEVELS REACH A POINT WHERE THE ALL-ROUND STAFF CANNOT HANDLE IT.

THE PAY RANGE FOR THIS ROLE IS $20 - $25 PER HOUR BASED UPON PREVIOUS RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE AND ANY CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES YOU HOLD.

Here’s What You’d Do

Snow Tech you will be responsible for performing all tasks related to snow removal. Shifts are on-call and range from 6 to 12 hours and are often overnight depending on the storm event. May require longer hours for larger storms. The season starts on the first snow fall.

You’d Be Responsible For

• Responsible for performing all tasks related to snow removal, including operating ATV plows, snow blowers, snow shovels and Salt spreaders.
• Work with Sidewalk-Crew Leaders as a team to efficiently and safely complete each assignment
  
  

You Might Be a Good Fit If You Have

• 18 years of age or older
• Work well under pressure while observing safety guidelines with minimal supervision
• Have a smart phone (to download and use our attendance tracker App)
• Have dependable transportation
• You must be able to work on an On-Call basis; with 1-3 hours advanced notice and commit to reported when contacted by the Report time.
• Able to lawfully work in the USA

Compensation Pay Range

THE PAY RANGE FOR THIS ROLE IS $20 - $25 PER HOUR BASED UPON PREVIOUS RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE AND ANY CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES YOU HOLD.
