Job summary

GDI is seeking a Snow Removal Operator to serve client sites in cold weather conditions. The role involves on-call shifts seven days a week, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, responding to snow/ice events and performing snow removal using ATV plows and snow blowers.

Responsibilities include managing ice melt application, hand-shoveling as needed, and maintaining safety with PPE while providing courteous customer service. On-call compensation is $100 weekly; working pay is $35 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience with ATV - Plow.
• Must be on call 7 days a week.
• Must be able to respond to service calls within 90 minutes.
• Must be able to do shoveling, snow blowing and plowing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to calls for snow and ice events.
• Operate snow removal equipment (ATV - Plow, Snow Blower) in safe, responsible and efficient manner following all recommended operating procedures.
• Manage ice accumulations at client site including all entrances and walkways with the safe and responsible use of Ice Melt.
• Hand-shovel or hand-treat site areas as required.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
• Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner.

The Snow Removal Operator practices in a team setting to safely and effectively clear snow and manage risk associate with snow/ice at the client site.

• On call from Monday - Sunday6:00AM - 6:00PM
• $100 weekly while on call
• $35 hourly while working

General Cleaners Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:
