Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services is seeking on-call General Cleaners to support snow removal and winter maintenance across sites in Illinois. This role requires operating ATV plows and snow blowers, responding to calls within 90 minutes, and performing shoveling and de-icing tasks as needed.

On-call compensation includes a weekly $100 on-call stipend, with $35 per hour for active work. Candidates must be available every day of the week and commit to rapid response at client locations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating ATV plows or similar snow removal equipment.
• Must be on-call 7 days a week.
• Able to respond to service calls within 90 minutes.
• Capable of shoveling, snow blowing, and plowing as needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to snow and ice events at client sites.
• Operate snow removal equipment (ATV plow, snow blower) safely.
• Manage ice accumulations at entrances and walkways with ice melt.
• Shovel or treat site areas as required.
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner.

Shift Available

• On call from Monday - Sunday6:00AM - 6:00PM
• $100 weekly while on call
• $35 hourly while working

General Cleaners Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

• Respond promptly to calls for snow and ice events.
• Operate snow removal equipment (ATV - Plow, Sow Blower) in safe, responsible and efficient manner following all recommended operating procedures.
• Manage ice accumulations at client site including all entrances and walkways with the safe and responsible use of Ice Melt.
• Hand-shovel or hand-treat site areas as required.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
• Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner.

Requirements

• Experience with ATV - Plow.
