Job summary

Northwest Parkway is seeking a Snow Removal Driver to join our on-site team in Broomfield, CO for the winter season. You will operate snowplows, salt spreaders, and related equipment to maintain safe passage for our toll road customers and the public.

Responsibilities include monitoring weather, responding to snow/ice events, performing routine maintenance, and coordinating with the snow crew to ensure timely completion of tasks. A valid CDL B+ license and strong safety mindset are required.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B (or higher) license with clean driving record.
• Experience operating snow removal equipment preferred.
• Able to work nights, weekends, holidays as required.
• Strong safety and customer service mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically capable to operate heavy equipment in winter conditions.

The Northwest Parkway is a nine-mile-long toll road that is a part of the Colorado highway system, connecting E-470 at I-25 with US36 in the north Denver area. It serves the region by providing convenient access to residential and employment centers, including the City of Boulder and the Denver International Airport. JOB PROFILE: Snow Plow Driver (Seasonal)

Location: Broomfield, Colorado (Northwest Parkway operations)

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt - Seasonal

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Snow Removal Driver to join our team. As a Snow Removal Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and clear passageways during the winter months by operating snow removal equipment. Your efforts will help maintain accessibility and safety for our clients and the community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate snowplows, salt spreaders, and other snow removal equipment efficiently and safely.
• Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snow and ice emergencies.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance on snow removal equipment to ensure functionality.
• Coordinate with the snow removal team to ensure efficient progress and project completion.
• Follow safety protocols and workplace procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or repair needs to the supervisor immediately.
• Document completion of tasks and maintain logs for accountability and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid CDL Class B or greater driver's license with a clean driving record.
