Job summary

Bear Creek Resort is seeking a Racings Operations Associate Team Member focused on delivering a positive, memorable experience for our guests on the Snowsports team. You will work with the Racing Operations team to conduct racing events, learn procedures, and maintain high guest service standards during peak times.

The role emphasizes teamwork, rapid learning of systems, adherence to rules, and commitment to guest satisfaction in a dynamic winter environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience racing, course setting or race coaching is necessary.
• Intermediate skiing/snowboarding skills.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team to successfully conduct racing events.
• Comply with Bear Creek Equipment Transporting/Lift Riding Procedures.
• Willingness to attain technical knowledge and competency in necessary systems and software.
• Comply with Racing Rules & Regulations.
• Attain pacesetters annual certification (pacesetters only).
• Work with the Youth Development & Race program coordinator and Snowsports Director to provide special racing opportunities for the program.
• Be available for all duties as assigned by the supervisor or team leader.
• Be at the area on time and ready to work when scheduled.
• Work effectively and cooperatively as part of the Racing Operations team.
• Comply with the Rules & Guidelines of the Snowsports School as well as the policies set forth in the Bear Creek Resort and Conference Center Employee Handbook.
• Demonstrate professional conduct at all times.
• Comply with all Southern Management policies and procedures.
• Perform various other duties as assigned by the supervisor or team leader.
• Give knowledgeable, friendly, prompt service.
• Increase the number of guest compliments.
