Job summary

Leo Facilities Maintenance is seeking a dependable Snow Plow Operator to clear snow and ice on client properties and roadways. You will follow routes, perform vehicle inspections, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely service.

Ideal candidates have a clean driving record, 2+ years of heavy equipment experience, and the ability to work nights and weekends in varying winter conditions. Training and safety protocols are provided.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record and ability to maintain safety at all times.
• 2+ years of experience operating snow plow trucks or heavy equipment preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as weather demands.
• Physical stamina to work in cold and challenging conditions for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow plow truck to remove snow and ice from client properties and designated areas.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to cover designated areas and prioritize high-need locations.
• Perform routine pre- and post-trip inspections and report malfunctions.
• Adhere to safety regulations and wear PPE during operations.
• Communicate with dispatch to receive assignments and report conditions.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed using the specified app.
• Monitor weather forecasts to respond to changing conditions.
• Coordinate with teammates to ensure efficient snow removal across service areas.
• Adjust plowing techniques based on road conditions and snow depth.
• Operate auxiliary equipment like salt spreaders when needed.
• Participate in training on safe snow operations and emergency procedures.
