Job summary

Donovan Property Service is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead snow removal operations across commercial and industrial properties in Queens and Brooklyn. This seasonal, on-call role requires supervising plow truck drivers, sidewalk crews, and equipment operators during winter events.

You will hire, train, and manage seasonal staff, plan routes, ensure equipment readiness, and coordinate repairs. On-call shifts include nights, weekends, and holidays based on weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Prior snow removal experience required.
• Experience supervising crews in related fields preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• CDL preferred.
• Able to travel throughout Queens and Brooklyn during shifts.
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Able to work outdoors in winter conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise winter crews during storm events.
• Oversee snow removal across commercial/industrial sites in Queens and Brooklyn.
• Plan routes and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Hire and train seasonal staff for winter operations.
• Coordinate equipment readiness and repairs as needed.
• Manage logistics for crew assignments and truck pickups.
• Be on-call for nights, weekends, and holidays.
