Job summary

Tsaina Lodge and Rendezvous Lodge in Alaska are seeking Snow Maintenance/Shuttle Driver/Luggage Assistant for the 2026 ski season. Responsibilities include snow removal, guest luggage assistance, and safe shuttle operations between Tsaina and Rendezvous Lodges in the Chugach Mountains, just outside Valdez.

Candidates must be able to work early mornings, including weekends, with a strong safety mindset and friendly professional conduct.

Qualifications

We are looking for Snow Maintenance/Shuttle Drivers/Luggage Assistant for our 2026 ski season at both Tsaina Lodge and Rendezvous Lodge. Both Lodges are located in the Chugach Mountains within 45 miles outside of Valdez, AK.

We are looking for qualified candidates for our Snow Maintenance/Shuttle Driver position. The right candidate should be able attend to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail.The goal is to create a safe, clean and orderly environment for our Guests and Employees.

Responsibilities and Requirements are listed below, but not limited to:

• Remove snow when needed, this may require early mornings and long nights, and is an "as needed" position
• Saturday Check In assist guest to room with Luggage and Friendly and upbeat personality along with professionalism
• Ensure all paths are free of snow and ice and are safely passable
• Ensure all structures that need to be free of snow are kept that way
• Make sure all guests as well as employees are shuttle with professionalism, respect and kindness
• Be able to run a snowblower
• Be able to take direction and instruction from the Head Maintenance Person
• Make sure all snow removal equipment is in good working order
• Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Customer-oriented and friendly
• Prioritization and time management skills
• Working quickly without compromising quality
• Must have proper cold weather gear (heavy coat, waterproof pants, gloves, hats, socks, base layers, ect.) for the Alaskan climate
• Must drive shuttle bus from Tsaina Lodge to the Rendezvous Lodge on a daily basis
• Knowledge of English language
• High school degree is a plus
• Must have a valid driver's license

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Available for seasonal work from the end ofFebruary 21, 2026 to April 26, 2026. Communal living experience is required.

PAY: This position pays $650-700 per week Salary for 50 hour week

BENEFITS: Housing is provided free of charge. Meals are $70/week, this includes breakfast, lunch and snack items with a hot buffet style dinner, which are all provided in the community yurt.
