Job summary

Qualifications

• Heavy manual labor including standing, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Work day or night shifts to support emergencies.
• CDL and DOT medical card required; comply with DOT/VDOT policies.
• Safety shoes required.
• Experience operating medium/heavy equipment (dump trucks, tractors, loaders, graders).
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in clearing snow and ice, apply abrasives/chemicals; respond to weather emergencies.
• Perform heavy manual tasks, install tire chains, plow blades, debris removal.
• Perform duties, tasks, activities, and projects as assigned.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on snow-clearing equipment.
