Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to perform heavy manual labor including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• CDL with DOT medical card and ability to maintain.
• Must comply with DOT and VDOT policies and standards when operating CDL equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate medium and heavy equipment to clear roadways and apply abrasives/chemicals.
• Perform debris removal and snow/ice control operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment used in weather events.
• Follow written and oral instructions to support emergency operations.
