Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort in Palmerton, PA is seeking a punctual, detail-oriented Snow Cat Operator to join our Mountain Ops team. You will operate snow cats, perform inspections, log issues, and contribute to safe, efficient grooming for a memorable guest experience.

The role requires 18+, 1 year of heavy equipment experience, and the ability to work nights and up to six days a week. A driver's license is required; full-time seasonal work with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 1 year of heavy equipment operating experience.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed, including nights, and up to 6 days per week.
• Knowledge of snowmaking, trail building, and other construction operations preferred.
• Ability to provide outstanding guest service.
• Timely and reliable attendance even in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow cats under the direction of the shift supervisor.
• Conduct pre- and post-shift vehicle and equipment inspections.
• Log inspection observations and report issues to maintenance personnel.
• Report grooming or safety obstacles to the shift supervisor.
• Keep working areas and vehicles clean and clutter-free.
• Maintain productivity independently and in a team.
• Maintain knowledge of risk management and OSHA standards.
• Attend staff meetings as required.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking a punctual, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited for an opportunity to provide a guest with an experience that is beyond their expectations and creates a guest for life.
