Job summary

Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is seeking personnel to operate snow removal equipment across multiple locations in Saline and Pettis Counties (Sedalia or Marshall). The position offers hourly pay with multiple seasonal steps and direct supervision for entry-level duties.

Responsibilities include driving to plow snow, spread ice control materials, and perform routine vehicle and site maintenance while adhering to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status (EI or NI).
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials or to warn oncoming traffic.
• Cleans and performs routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned.
