Job summary

Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) in Concordia and surrounding Lafayette/Ray counties seeks an emergency maintenance equipment operator for snow removal operations. This is entry-level, with training under direct supervision and seasonal hourly pay starting at $26.00 for 1st season.

Responsibilities include operating plow trucks to clear roads, applying ice control materials, performing routine vehicle and equipment maintenance, and complying with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• CDL Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials or to warn oncoming traffic.
• Cleans and performs routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned.
