Job summary

Advocate Healthcare of East Boston is seeking a Hospital Marketer to drive census growth at our Skilled Nursing Facility. You will engage hospitals, medical professionals, and community groups to promote bed availability and services.

You will develop referral networks, oversee admissions intake, and collaborate with leadership to ensure timely admissions decisions. The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to train staff on admissions processes.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in SNF healthcare settings.
• Strong presentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple relationships.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outside sales calls to hospitals, medical professionals, senior organizations, and community groups to promote services and educate on bed availability.
• Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources to drive admissions and meet community needs.
• Intake information from referrals and clients in a professional manner, ensuring a seamless admission process.
• Collaborate with the DON and Administrator to facilitate timely admissions decisions.
• Train and coordinate in-house staff on admissions processes and serve as a resource for inquiries and tours.
• Stay informed about federal and state regulations, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, and managed care referral processes.
• Monitor inquiry and admission trends to support quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a database of medical contacts and community resources; track industry trends and regulatory issues.
• Assist in developing facility marketing materials such as brochures, press releases, and advertisements.
