Alumus Healthcare in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to ensure timely submission of claims and to post and reconcile insurance and patient payments. You will navigate payer rules to keep accounts current and support continuous cash flow.

This role requires a minimum of three years in healthcare billing, familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid billing, and proficiency with standard office software. Join a patient‑centered team that values compassion, accuracy, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Healthcare Billing Collections required.
• Familiar with Computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Medicare Part A & Part B, Commercial, Medicaid and co-insurance billing required.
• Skilled nursing facility (SNF) Billing experience a plus.
• Minimum of two (2) year experience billing Medicare A, preferred.
• Experience with Point Click Care - PCC software a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Research and resolve EOB rejections and other issues with outstanding accounts.
• Follow up on insurance and patient aging. Re-submit insurance claims as necessary.
• Prepare and manage all primary and secondary billings including; Medicare A, Hospice, Private and Managed Care, via paper or electronic means according to payer specific rules.
