Job summary

SNIPES is looking for a Manager in Training to oversee store staff and daily operations when Store Manager is absent. This entry-level management role focuses on driving sales, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining store standards.

You will partner with Store Manager and HR to support staff, merchandising, and store performance while growing into a leadership position within the SNIPES network.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Retail experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus but not required.
• Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Takes initiative and has problem solving skills.
• Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift.
• Lifting between 15-30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership in driving sales by achieving store and individual goals.
• Assist Store Manager with communicating goals to the team.
• Monitor and evaluate performance in sales, productivity, and loss prevention.
• Lead and assist store staff as needed.
• Execute floor set guides and promotions on time.
• Direct merchandise presentation according to Visual Merchandising standards.
• Identify customer needs and ensure assortment meets them.
• Assist with markdowns and transfers in a timely manner.
• Ensure cleanliness of sales floor and stockroom.
