Central Pennsylvania Food Bank in Harrisburg, PA seeks a full-time SNAP Outreach Associate to provide compassionate SNAP application assistance and support services. The role also promotes CPFB and the SNAP Helpline through partner agencies, events, and street outreach.

Responsibilities include assisting households to apply via COMPASS, updating Salesforce with case details, and connecting applicants to additional CPFB resources while ensuring confidentiality and protocol adherence.

Qualifications

• Call center experience preferred.
• One or more years of customer service in non-profit settings preferred.
• Spanish-speaking abilities are advantageous.
• Multilingual skills are a plus for community outreach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication required.

Responsabilités

• Assist SNAP Outreach Team with SNAP Helpline calls and referrals from various sources.
• Screen and assist households in applying for SNAP via COMPASS.
• Enter and update case details and outreach events in Salesforce.
• Provide applicants with information on other CPFB programs and resources.
• Educate applicants on program rules and enrollment processes.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all security protocols.
