Job summary

Mars Snacking Factory Innovation Internship Experience in Waco, Texas offers a 10-11 week summer program to gain hands-on exposure to product, process and packaging development. You will collaborate with site manufacturing and engineering teams, and engage with compliance, quality and regulatory affairs, including sensory activities.

You will be mentored daily by a line manager and have access to Mars University training and networking with peers and leaders throughout the experience.

Qualifications

• Proactive, curious and passionate with a drive for results and eagerness to learn.
• Enthusiastic about Mars brands, research, innovation and consumer products.
• Pursuing Chemical Engineering or Food Science or related engineering disciplines.
• Excited about using data to improve efficiency.
• Interns are eligible to intern the summer before final graduation date.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Drug and background screening required.
• Must have reliable transportation to the work site for the internship.

Responsibilities

• Product, process and packaging development exposure.
• Work with Site Manufacturing and Engineering Teams.
