Job summary

J&J Snack Foods Corp. is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the manufacturing floor, ensuring smooth start-ups across six lines, on-time materials flow and strict adherence to GMP and food safety procedures.

You will lead a team, coordinate coverage, and report production metrics. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in food manufacturing, strong organizational skills, and the ability to solve problems, communicate clearly, and adapt to changing schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred but not required.
• 1–3 years food manufacturing knowledge.
• Excellent organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production line start-ups (6 lines).
• Effective labor crewing for all positions for each line-producing product.
• Placement of temporary personnel labor positions for coverage of attendance issues.
• Obtaining and staging of all raw materials necessary for the entire shift production.
• Evaluating and receiving of all bulk inventory ingredients for usage and storage.
• Producing product efficiently in accordance with production schedule.
• Ensure GMP, Safety and food safety procedures are followed.
• Oversee dough batching and remix batching to specifications.
• Monitor line speed and product weight; ensure proper color, bake and shape.
• Prepare Production Efficiency Report at end of shift.
