J&J Snack Foods Corp. is seeking a Production Manager in Missouri to oversee the production process, including mixing, baking, and packing, while directing goals for yield, efficiency, and safety.

The role requires enforcing SOPs, maintaining quality and food safety, and leading a team to ensure clean, safe, and compliant operations. Responsibilities include ensuring adherence to standards, training staff, coordinating with departments, and reporting on safety and production performance.

Formación

• A bachelor’s degree in business or related field or at least five years of prior experience in manufacturing facility for consumer product manufacturer.
• Three years or more supervisor or leadership experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Demonstrated experience working with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors
• Experience in food and beverage manufacturing environments desired.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee production inclusive of mixing, baking, and packing of products.
• Institute the direction and goals of the Production Manager to maintain yield, efficiency, quality, cleanliness, and safety.
• Enforce and manage policy, procedures, and culture to control and improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Assign tasks to maintain warehouses, mixing, depositing, and packing areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
• Maintain interdepartmental communication and report time/attendance infractions to HR.
• Train and cross-train employees on procedures and processes to manage skills during shifts.
• Adhere to environmental, health and safety requirements and ensure food safety and quality.
