Job summary

Temecula Creek Inn is seeking a Snack Bar Supervisor to oversee daily snack bar and beverage cart operations, ensuring professional guest service and satisfaction. You will manage guest needs, staffing, inventory, and orders while upholding quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, English fluency, and at least 1 year in food service with supervisory experience; familiarity with OSHA and health regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest needs in a timely, professional manner.
• Hire, train, schedule, support, review, and discipline snack bar staff.
• Open/close snack bar according to procedures.
• Monitor payroll by adjusting staffing levels.
• Provide prompt service, take orders, prepare food/beverages, buss tables.
• Process transactions per procedures.
• Rotate products and check dates.
• Order food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
• Supervise snack bar and beverage cart inventory to prevent spoilage.
• Maintain quality and cleanliness of outlets.
• Meet health and safety regulations.
• Promote and comply with F&B policies of Temecula Creek Inn.
• Report suspicious occurrences and hazards.
• Keep work areas clean and safe; practice safe habits.
• Comply with safety rules and equipment handling.
• Attend mandatory meetings; participate in cross-training.

Description

Essential Purpose: To oversee daily operations of the snack bar and beverage carts to ensure professional customer service.

Essential Duties:

• To understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• To assist, as directed, to hire, train, schedule, support, review, and discipline snack bar employees.
• To correctly open and/or close the snack bar according to specified procedures.
• To monitor payroll by adjusting staffing levels, as needed.
• To provide prompt, efficient, and gracious customer service to all guests, including taking orders, preparing food and beverages as ordered, and bussing tables
• To follow all specified procedures to correctly handle all transactions.
• To ensure that products are rotated and dates are current.
• To order food, beverages, and supplies as needed, to accommodate business needs and to follow appropriate requisition procedures at all times.
• To supervise use of snack bar and beverage cart inventory to control spoilage and waste.
• To maintain the quality and cleanliness of all outlets.
• To meet health and safety regulations standards in the performance of all job tasks.
• To promote and comply with all policies and procedures of the food and beverage department and Temecula Creek Inn
• To immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
• To maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times.
• To practice safe work habits at all times, to avoid injury to self and others.
• To comply with company and departmental safety rules and regulations, including the proper handling of all relevant equipment.
• To attend all mandatory meetings, as directed.

Requirements

Knowledge + Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. English fluency required. Must have minimum one year experience in food industry, with emphasis on fast food experience. Some supervisory experience preferred. Familiar with OSHA, SB198, local Department of Health regulations, and relevant current laws governing handling of hazardous substances. Hotel experience preferred.

Bends, stoops, reaches, pushes, and pulls to perform routine job tasks. Moderate use of stairs, daily.
