Job summary

Temecula Creek Inn in Temecula, CA invites a part-time Banquet Set-Up team member to ensure proper setup for all banquet functions and assist banquet staff in service and buffet areas.

Responsibilities include coordinating with supervisors, preparing rooms, and maintaining safety and cleanliness while following departmental policies and safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• English fluency required.
• Minimum one year of similar experience.
• Must know fundamentals of beverage mixing, inventory and pars, and glass types and uses.
• Must have large drink recipe knowledge.
• California driver license may be required with proof of personal auto insurance.
• Hotel experience preferred.

• To immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
• To maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times.
• To practice safe work habits at all times, to avoid injury to self and others.
• To comply with company and departmental safety rules and regulations, including the proper handling of all relevant equipment.
• To attend all mandatory meetings, as directed.
• To perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.

Requirements

Physical Demands: Stands/walks short distances throughout shift. Frequently required to handle and carry ice tubs, beverage cases, and other objects weighing up to 50 lbs. over short to long distances. Frequently required to handle and move objects weighing up to 200 lbs. over short to long distances, using appropriate hand trucks and carts. Routinely required to handle and move objects weighing up to 400 lbs. over short to long distances, using appropriate hand trucks and carts. Bends, stoops, reaches, pushes, and lifts to perform routine job tasks. Uses stairs frequently, throughout shift.
