Job summary

Troons Tobacco Road Golf Club in Sanford, NC is hiring a part-time Snack Bar Attendant for a seasonal role (about 6 months). The position offers starting pay of $9.50 per hour plus tips and includes training for those with no prior experience in hospitality.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Attends to guests promptly, efficiently and personally.
• Prepares and serves food and beverages.
• Keeps work area organized and clean.
• Monitors inventory and stores products properly.
• Receives deliveries and communicates supply needs to management.
• Handles cash/ POS transactions and receipts.
• Provides support to service staff to ensure top-notch guest experience.
• Familiarizes self with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Communicates guest concerns to the Director, Food and Beverage and Chef.
• Reviews daily schedule and facility activities for changes.

Tobacco Road Golf Club, located in Sanford, NC, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Snack Bar Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation:

Starting at $9.50 an hour plus tips

Key Responsibilities of the Snack Bar Attendant:

• Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner.
• Prepares and serves food and beverage items.
• Maintains organized and clean work area.
• Controls inventory through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food beverage products.
• Receives deliveries of product from vendors and ensures proper storage.
• Reports to department manager when supplies need to be ordered.
• Stocks and inventories products.
• Responds to customer questions regarding the general information of facility.
• Supplies support to food servers and beverage cart attendants to ensure excellent service to members and guests.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Communicates guest concerns or comments immediately to the Director, Food and Beverage and Chef.
• Reviews schedule for changes, calendar of events and facility activities on a daily basis.
• Processes snack bar purchases with point of sales (POS) system
• Accountable for cash and check transactions.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications of the Snack Bar Attendant:

• No Experience necessary but will train.
• Must be able to meet age requirement for serving alcohol and has obtained Certified Food Handler's Card.
• Must be 21+ and have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to work in inclement weather and work well under pressure.
• Prefer at least one year of food and beverage experience.

Other Qualifications of the Snack Bar Attendant:

• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Experience using Point of Sales (POS) systems.
