Job summary

El Macero Country Club in El Macero, CA, is seeking a part-time Snack Bar Attendant for a seasonal role lasting six months or less. You will learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality environment, delivering prompt, personalized service to members and guests.

No prior experience is required; training is provided. A Certified Food Handler's Card and the ability to meet alcohol service age are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Attends to guests promptly and efficiently in a personalized manner.
• Prepares and serves food and beverage items.
• Maintains organized, clean work area.
• Monitors and controls inventory of F&B products.
• Receives deliveries and stores items properly.
• Notifies manager when supplies need ordering.
• Stocks and inventories products.
• Answers guest questions about facility information.
• Supports food servers and beverage cart attendants.
• Keeps knowledge of liquor laws and SOPs up to date.
• Communicates guest concerns to Director of F&B and Chef.
• Reviews daily schedule, events, and activity calendar.
• Processes snack bar purchases with EZLinks POS system.
• Handles cash and check transactions.

El Macero Country Club, located in El Macero, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Snack Bar Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Role Type: Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less) Compensation: $16.90 - $18.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities of the Snack Bar Attendant:

• Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner.
• Prepares and serves food and beverage items.
• Maintains organized and clean work area.
• Controls inventory through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food beverage products.
• Receives deliveries of product from vendors and ensures proper storage.
• Reports to department manager when supplies need to be ordered.
• Stocks and inventories products.
• Responds to customer questions regarding the general information of facility.
• Supplies support to food servers and beverage cart attendants to ensure excellent service to members and guests.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Communicates guest concerns or comments immediately to the Director, Food and Beverage and Chef.
• Reviews schedule for changes, calendar of events and facility activities on a daily basis.
• Processes snack bar purchases with EZLinks point of sales(POS) system
• Accountable for cash and check transactions.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications of the Snack Bar Attendant:

No Experience necessary but will train.

Must be able to meet age requirement for serving alcohol and has obtained Certified Food Handler's Card.

Regular and reliable attendance.

Experience using Point of Sales (POS) systems.
