Job summary

Prairie Band Casino & Resort is seeking a dedicated food service team member to provide fast and friendly service across outlets, handle POS transactions, and ensure accurate, high-quality food preparation. You will work as part of a dynamic team, maintain sanitation standards, and support or substitute for other kitchen staff during peak times.

The role requires weekend/holiday availability, a neat appearance, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of kitchen sanitation, operations and maintenance of kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast and clean servicing of all menu items to guests, ensuring uniform and consistent orders.
• Control food production aspects including cooking methods, times, temperatures, and storage of leftovers.
• Greet guests and handle payments at POS, including giving change when applicable.
• Deliver food items to guests and assist during peak periods.
• Prepare food items from standardized recipes and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Support Bartender/Barback or Beverage Server duties when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain clean workstation.

$750 Hiring Bonus for new Team Members plus $50 in gas gift cards during our onboarding process.

Provides excellent internal and external guest service while preparing all food orders in a quick and timely manner; completes payment transactions efficiently and accurately when working in assigned outlets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Responsible for fast and clean servicing of all menu items to the guests and ensures each order sent out is uniform and consistent
• Controls food production to include: proper cooking methods, cooking time and temperature and ensures sanitation, handling and storage of prepared food and leftovers
• Greets and completes payment transactions for guest orders while working in assigned outlets on a POS (point of sale) system, accepts payment and (when applicable) accurately gives change back to guest
• Delivers food items to guests
• Adequately prepares for known peak business levels and effectively maintains a high level of guest service
• Prepares all food items from standardized recipes when working in assigned outlets
• Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same
• Resolve service problems according to guidelines
• If 21, performs the duties of a Bartender or Barback as needed
• If 18, performs the duties of a Beverage Server, Food Server, Coffee Bar Attendant, Club Premier Service Host or Cashier/Host as needed
• Performs all the duties of a Server Assistant, Food Expediter, Steward or Cook in the outlets as needed to include Banquet functions
• Other duties as assigned
• Maintains a clean and stocked workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

Required
