Job summary

Prairie Band Casino & Resort in Mayetta, KS is seeking a cashiers/bingo staff member to help guests with purchases, validate bingos, and process payouts. You will engage guests, explain games, and ensure accurate paperwork while delivering high-quality guest service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with cashier and floor purchases, validate bingos, facilitate games, verify and complete payouts, answer guest questions, and maintain paperwork.
• Must be able to handle high-volume guest interactions and be consistently outgoing, upbeat, and cheerful.
• Build guest relations throughout every session by talking with guests and making them feel welcome, comfortable, and inviting them back.
• Observe all activity within assigned area while actively completing work assignments.
• Knowledgeable of the various bingo game types available in order to answer questions.
• Handling routine guest disputes and exhibits the appropriate discretion to identify situations that require the attention of supervisory personnel; effort is given to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
• Utilize open body language to communicate a willingness to assist.
• Maintain monetary and paperwork accuracy and efficiency within department and property standards.
• Assist in maintaining a spotless hall by cleaning and resetting the area as well as disposing of any trash.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourage others to do the same.
• Familiar with Title 31 guidelines and understands and utilizes suspicious activity reporting (SAR) when necessary.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

Preferred

• One year of direct customer contact experience
