Job summary

Avon Fields Golf Course is seeking a Snack Bar Attendant to deliver quick, friendly service to guests. You will handle food and beverage items, operate the POS system, and keep the work area clean and stocked. This role includes weekend and holiday shifts with flexible scheduling.

No prior experience is required, but training will be provided. A Certified Food Handler's Card and eligibility to serve alcohol are required, along with reliable attendance and basic cash handling abilities.

Qualifications

• No experience required but on‑the‑job training provided.
• Must obtain Certified Food Handler's Card and meet alcohol service age.
• Regular and reliable attendance is expected.
• Experience using Point of Sale systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly service.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Monitor inventory and assist with stocking.
• Receive deliveries and store products properly.
• Handle cash/credit transactions at the POS.
• Assist servers and beverage cart attendants as needed.
• Adhere to liquor laws and operating procedures.
• Communicate guest concerns to management and update schedules.

Avon Fields Golf Course is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Snack Bar Attendant. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service for our guests.

Pay Rate: $6.00 / hour + tips and gratuity.

Schedule: Hours vary, includes weekends and holidays with flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities of the Snack Bar Attendant:

• Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner.
• Prepares and serves food and beverage items.
• Maintains organized and clean work area.
• Controls inventory through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food beverage products.
• Receives deliveries of product from vendors and ensures proper storage.
• Reports to department manager when supplies need to be ordered.
• Stocks and inventories products.
• Responds to customer questions regarding the general information of facility.
• Supplies support to food servers and beverage cart attendants to ensure excellent service to members and guests.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Communicates guest concerns or comments immediately to the Director, Food and Beverage and Chef.
• Reviews schedule for changes, calendar of events and facility activities on a daily basis.
• Processes snack bar purchases with EZLinks point of sales(POS) system
• Accountable for cash and check transactions.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications of the Snack Bar Attendant:

• No Experience necessary but will train.
• Must be able to meet age requirement for serving alcohol and has obtained Certified Food Handler's Card.

Other Qualifications:

• Regular and reliable attendance.
