Job description

Primary Responsibilities
  • Candidates will develop, document, and execute manufacturing processes and procedures for electronic products.
  • Candidate will support production of printed circuit board assemblies through various processes such as SMT, Through Hole Selective Solder, Press fit, Conformal Coating, and other PCBA manufacturing processes.
  • Applicant will work with a multi‑disciplinary team to develop a wide variety of hardware, using the latest automated technology in assembly and test equipment.
  • Candidate will support tasks such as creating machine programs and overseeing the execution of manufacturing activities.
  • Candidate will work closely with the operations team to complete all details of the assembly and ultimately prepare the assembly for delivery to the customer.
  • Candidate will also work closely with our manufacturing team—including engineering, operations, and quality—to develop processes that validate customer quality requirements.
  • Candidate will work closely with production control to meet desired delivery schedules.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4–8 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree with 2–6 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a HS Diploma with 10 years of experience will be considered.
  • Experience with SMT, PTH, selective soldering, or conformal coating processes.
  • Experience with Costpoint Material Planning software and/or Agile/Windchill product lifecycle management software, and experience in various quality roles, or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and ability to multi‑task.
  • Experience working with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and technicians to develop a build strategy and identify potential assembly problems.
  • Basic computer skills associated with assembly tasks (e.g., retrieving documentation, updating router steps).
  • Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville‑North Alabama, AL area.
  • US Citizen and possess (or be eligible to obtain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of manufacturing experience on programs building electronic hardware to government specifications.
  • Experience with ASM pick‑and‑place, DEK screen printers, BTU ovens, PVA coating machines, Pillarhouse or JUKI selective solder equipment.
  • Experience with software that maintains bills of materials and other engineering design data.
  • Experience with electronics used on launch vehicles, targets, or missile components, and production of cable harnesses, electronics, and electromechanical assemblies.
  • Experience in various quality roles.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Pay Range

$73,450.00 – $132,775.00
