Job summary

Foxconn Assembly, LLC in the United States is seeking an experienced SMT Programmer to create, update and maintain SMT programs for solder paste printing and reflow ovens. You will ensure programs align with MPI and PPI and support engineering and operators on the shop floor.

The role requires strong attention to detail, broad SMT process knowledge, and the ability to read BOMs, drawings and Gerber data. Day shift; non-exempt.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with programming in MPM printer, Universal, My Data and BTU reflow oven.
• Able to read and understand Customer BOM, Assembly drawing, Gerber file, Components ID and coordinates.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced SMT processes and methodologies.
• Perform analysis for SMT and failure analyses.
• Read and follow work instructions and company standards.
• Maintain and update programs according to MPI and PPI, error free.
• Transmit programs to SMT machines promptly to improve SMT efficiency.
• Maintain 5S activities on the production floor.
• Assist engineers or operators when needed.
• Perform overtime as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement advanced processes and SMT methodologies
• Perform direct and failure analyses for Surface Mount Technology (SMT)
• Read and follow work instructions, companystandardsand procedures.
• Perform tasks withhighdegree of care and attention to detail.
• Ensure all programs are up to date according to MPI and PPI, error free.
• Transmitsprogramfrom computer database to SMT machines intimelymanner to help improve SMT efficiency.
• Maintain and fine tune all programs regularly andassistengineers or operators when needed.
• Committed to quality workmanshipstandard.
• Maintain 5S activities on the production floor at alltimes.
• Perform other related tasks that are assigned and work overtime as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

EXPERIENCE
