Electronic Systems Inc. (ESI) is hiring a SMT Operator for a full-time shift with weekday hours (5am–3:30pm). You will assemble low-volume and prototype projects, insert components by hand, and ensure accurate placement and final product quality. The role emphasizes teamwork, continuous improvement, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or assembly environments.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and understand verbal or written English instructions.
• Self-starter who collaborates effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Assemble low-volume and prototype projects from prints or assembly instructions.
• Insert electronic components by hand into PCBs.
• Ensure accuracy of component placement and final product assembly.
• Collaborate with other assemblers to teach assembly and soldering techniques.
• Share assembly and soldering techniques to support quality and efficiency.
• Communicate job status to team leaders.
• Perform testing, packing, and related tasks with attention to detail and teamwork.
• Participate in continuous improvement and overtime as needed.
