Electronic Systems Inc. (ESI) is seeking an SMT Operator to assemble low-volume and prototype projects from printed circuits, using hand placement of components with careful attention to detail.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing or assembly and offers a full-time schedule from 5am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime. In this position you will work from prints, ensure accurate component placement, and support teammates by sharing soldering techniques and

• Three or more years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and understand verbal or written English instructions.
• Self-starter who collaborates effectively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Work directly from prints or assembly instructions to assemble low-volume and prototype projects.

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
• Ability to distinguish colors and work around standard production odors.
• Proper PPE required per ESI Safety Policy and OSHA standards.
• Periods of sitting and standing for extended time.
• Bending, reaching, and twisting during assembly and packing.
