Cybotic System is seeking an SMT Process Technician to support SMT manufacturing operations in Houston, TX. You will perform equipment setup, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and process support to maintain high uptime and product quality.

Work closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering to improve efficiency in solder paste printing, component placement, reflow soldering, AOI and SPI inspection. Strong basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, technical certification, trade school education, or equivalent STEM background in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Technology, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of SMT Technician experience in a PCBA manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting SMT production equipment.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance on SMT equipment.
• Knowledge of SMT processes including solder paste printing, component placement, reflow soldering, AOI, and SPI inspection.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work with technical documentation.

Job description

The SMT Process Technician supports Surface Mount Technology (SMT) manufacturing operations by performing equipment setup, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and process support activities.
