Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or Industrial Engineering Technology.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related field.
• Lean Manufacturing training and familiarity with SPC tools.

Responsibilities

• Uses Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize SMT processes on prototype and production lines.
• Supports NPI and legacy process development for new and existing builds.
• Creates and controls manufacturing instructions and implements engineering changes on the production floor.
• Performs SPC charts on machines and equipment to monitor process capability (Cp, Cpk) and performance (Pp, PpK).
• Designs special jigs and fixtures to meet production requirements.
• Collaborates with engineering, operations and quality teams to reduce scrap and improve productivity.
