Job summary

M A K S Incorporated is seeking an Electronics Process Engineer to develop, implement, and improve SMT processes for PCB assembly. You will support NPI, SMT equipment programming, solder-paste printing, component placement, and reflow profiling while collaborating with production and quality teams to enhance yield and uptime.

You will create process documentation, train operators, and ensure IPC standards and customer requirements are met, driving quality improvements across manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

We are seeking an Electronics Process Engineer to join our team! As an SMT Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving surface-mount technology processes used in printed circuit board assembly. This role supports new-product introduction, SMT equipment programming, solder-paste printing, component placement, reflow profiling, and inspection processes. The engineer troubleshoots manufacturing defects, performs root-cause analysis, develops corrective actions, and works closely with production and quality teams to improve product quality, first-pass yield, efficiency, and equipment uptime. The position also creates process documentation, trains production personnel, and ensures compliance with applicable IPC standards and customer requirements.
