Job summary

Antunes is seeking an SMT Operator at its Corporate Headquarters in Carol Stream, IL. The role covers setup, operation, and teardown of SMT equipment, with a focus on quality, safety and manufacturing efficiency.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 2–3 years of electronic control manufacturing experience. SMT Mycronic experience is preferred; strong electro-mechanical aptitude is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years electronic control manufacturing experience.
• SMT experience with Mycronic pick & place preferred.
• Strong electro-mechanical aptitude and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Set up, runs and tears down SMT equipment.
• Ensure quality, safety and manufacturing efficiency.
• Builds and tests control board assemblies from engineering docs.
• Escalates problems to floor leader and reduces defects.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader(s).
• Shift: 5:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday–Thursday.
